Biography

France

Born in 1973, Raphaël Granier de Cassagnac is a novelist as well as a particle physicst. At CERN, he is studying the quark-gluon plasma, a state of matter that the Universe was in during its first microseconds after the big-bang. In his science fiction novels (Thinking Eternity), he imagines a too near future where cloning, artificial intelligence and private companies become more and more important. At Mnémos editions, he is also directing the Ourobores series, of illustrated books offering an immersion stay in the work of authors like Jules Verne (Un an dans les airs) and H.P. Lovecraft (Kadath).
